Quality Clothing Exchange-

Our Free "Quality Clothing Exchange" - YOU did it!

Thank YOU! for rising to the occasion, picking up the slack, (I can't think of another analogy to use to relate how grateful I am for your help!) But please know that you are appreciated for your extensions of kindness, support & generousity.
A lot of the folks who came through Saturday's Free Quality Clothing Exchange asked the same questions:

# 1. was "Why are you doing this?"

#2. was "Are you going to do this again?" -Answers were easy.#1. Because there is a need & a means was provided.

#2. Its a possibility!

Saturday was full of reminders... like the fact that our family will reach out and support us knowing their personal contribution is appreciated. Our team members & friends will help us any way they can if its within their ability to do so. The community only needs to be made aware of a need to become involved in an active way. (They also require a few weeks time to get organized, so if anyone else has a great idea, please plan it out at least a month in advance so the many who wish-can do!)

(& Thank you, Greg!)As well as the helpful folks at the Wal-Mart store, for helping us load the clothing racks! (And Jon, for loaning us the use of his trailer!)

Thank you "Bob Evans" for the coupons you contributed to the event as well! "Pizza Hut", "Dominos","McDonalds", "WKKJ", "The Chillicothe Gazette", Beauti Control, "1855", You all deserve a nice round of applause for your community minded spirit and support!

THANK YOU Connie, Peggy, Karen, Athena, Kim, Tonya, Kate, Brenda, Sharon, for your time, advice, and ever loyal support!!!Here are a couple displays, Beauti Control and Jewels by Park Lane. We treated the exchangers to the benefits of our wonderful product lines, for free. Kim gave hand treatments and demonstrated her awesome lotions and I showed accessories to compliment ensembles, that can be aquired as freebies. Connie treated us all to some yummy cake. Here's our very first Exchanger, Brenda. Doesn't she look gorgeous in her "new" dress? Clothes came in, clothes went out..Thats what its all about! One man came in from the rain and asked if he had to have items to trade in order to benefit. He said things were very difficult for him right now, and he would sure appreciate it if we could spare something. Of course we could- you all made sure of that. He chose a couple things and thanked us graciously. I'll pass his expressions on to you.

Many mothers were tickled to find some items their children could use for school. Some ladies were preparing to leave for a convention and happily exchanged some brand new pieces for some dressy clothes. Our donated baby things went quickly, as well as any toddler sized apparell. I'd like to thank Ruth at Shawnee Lanes for sharing our information with others too! People seemed very happy with their exchanges, some even came back a second time with more! We even had folks volunteering to bring us in more hangers! As you look through the pictures, take notice of the lovely decorated rooms available for your needs... weather outside was dreary, but our atmosphere was "Cheery"...For one thing, all the clothes were clean and freshly washed, so that pleasant scent was mixing with the aroma of the cakes in the other room. Another one of Connie's talents!

Good Job Blake and Tizzy!

Let's keep it up!
